Remote Desktop – The terminal server has exceeded the maximum number of allowed connections

If you hit the following error message “The terminal server has exceeded the maximum number of allowed connections” when try to logon to another machine using remote desktop. You can use remote desktop admin mode to force other user out from the session.

Cause :
By default windows servers allow 3 maximum remote session.
This can be cause by other ppl that logon to the server t

Resolution :

Try to remote desktop using admin mode.
Using windows key + R , bring up the run command windows.
Type “mstsc -admin” and click “OK”

Then continue to login to the server as usual.
